Energy generated from solar PV system will be consumed first, any excess energy generated is allowed to be exported back to as credit. The total amount will be deducted from your total bill.
Distributed Energy Resources (DER) refer to decentralized or small-scale power generation and storage technologies that are located close to where energy is used (end-users), rather than centralized power plants that supply electricity through transmission lines. DERs can include a variety of technologies such as solar photovoltaics (PV), wind turbines, microturbines, fuel cells, and battery storage systems
Renewable Energy Supplier transacts with the Generation Companies and Distribution Utilities on behalf of the GEOP Customer to source them energy supply. Electric Generation is supplied via Transmission Lines. National Grid Corporation of the Philippines transmits power to the distribution utility (DU). DU then distributes power accordingly to the captive market end users and GEOP market end users.
Customers under the Zero Export Program use the electricity generated by their solar panels for their consumption. Any excess electricity generated cannot be exported to the distribution utility (DU), i.e. Meralco.
At Solarvest, we work with companies to minimize operational costs and assist in devising a strategic plan to achieve your goal of 100% renewable energy.
Own your energy system upfront with CAPEX. Gain full control of your system and enjoy the savings!
The Powerlease model is a long-term agreement between you and Solarvest. Solarvest will install solar energy on your rooftop. Enjoy leasing your electricity from Solarvest at a lower tariff rate.
The Philippines’ operating costs in one of the highest in Southeast Asia. Solar Energy can reduce an average of 75% in operational costs throughout its lifespan. An ideal way to save on your electricity bills.
Since the Renewable Energy Act in 2008, the Philippines government has always incentivised the use of solar energy. Solar tax credits, tariff exemptions, modified duty rates, and other incentives demonstrate the advantage of leveraging solar power over other energy options for your business.
Solar panels can generate electricity for up to 40 years. Most panel providers offer a 30-year product warranty program. This allows consumers to maximise investments while enjoying despite any damages incurred.
